what did you do in 2010 that you have not done before? I started a foundation (details to come) I fundraised for a charity all on my own, I had a sip of tequila (DISTGUSTING) went to the grey cup game
Did you keep your new years resolution and will you make more next year? I never made really any but I did decide to revamp my photography company AGAIN
Did anyone close to you give birth? Genevieve & Kelly
Did anyone close to you die? Mr Stepanchuck but he was not close to me
What places did you visit? hmmm Calgary, Banff, Wainwright, Red Deer, Sylvan lake.. no where exciting
Biggest achievement? FINALLY got some diagnosis's, had surgery etc... yes thats a huge achievement for me
Suffer injury? illness? More NYD issues (not yet diagnosed) more details to come see #6
Best thing you bought? Bought a fence
Where did most of your money go? I HAD MONEY????

Been a long long while since I updated, (April 2010 to be exact) life in 2010 has been amazing, sad and crazy all in iteself

I have a ton of things to write but right now I cannot do it, I kind of just need to pour my feeling out and guess what my blogging friends you are gonna be in for a treat.... Im gonna start blogging again... just need a friend or 2... so get ready for some deep issues, deep admissions, deep diagnosis's etc.... I will be back!!!!

SCHOOL

School starts tomorrow, I am NOT looking forward to it... the only thing I am looking forward to is that this week school starts at noon, 12-2pm... so not too bad for week one... then week 3,4,5 is 9-2 then the rest is 12-2... so only 3 hard weeks...

I just am thinking maybe school AGAIN?? I just went back in 2003 when I became a nurse... argh i am complaining too much......

So I know this sweet lady that lives in my neighbourhood... I really like her alot BUT she tends to harass me every now and then..... THIS ONES FOR YOU LINDA!!!!

Now I am on the spot and have to update my blog, well lets see as most of you know I had a mini exploratory surgery 2 weeks ago.. because I have been dealing with months and months of abdominal pain... so far I was told I had a bacteria infection in my stomach, gallbladder, intestines etc....WHAT???? this is something that you could have diagnosed 21 months ago !!! I have been to the doctors at least 18 times and 3 specialists, I have had every test and every procedure but since it took me 12 months to get into the gastroenterologist I had to wait to get that diagnosis, I saw him in january, had my mini surgery in march and was diagnosed 6 days later...hmmmmm

Well I won't keep ranting about that.

Lynden went on a ski trip to jasper.. he had soooo much fun and is on his way to awesome band camp with his school...

Hunter is taking some more awesome responsibilities and added 1 more day to her horse back riding schedule by going on thursdays too.. but this is not riding but it is helping with the mentally challenged kidlets that her instructor teaches.

Life is boring and everyone is busy...lol I don't think I have spent so much time at home..

Spring break we didn't really do anything but last minute we decided to go to banff... avery was sicker than ever puking and pooping but i said too bad we are going, so we went, the boys went skiing, the girls went on a carriage ride... we went to the candy store... nope not that candy store, it was too busy so we scoured and found 3 others that were soooooo MUCH BETTER

We ended up having a mini catastrophe because the beds at the hotel were made of feather FEATHER???? I have not seen feather really since the 80's lol.

I and Avery are extremely allergic to feather.. so that was not fun!!!

So I have some new adventures in store for me and my family... I figured why not share them here.. plus i have been getting emails hinting i need to uodate my blog...

So I always joke about not knowing what i want to be when i grow up...

here is what i have done/do

joined the naval reserves/1996 (quit)

became a hairdresser /1998 (only do wedding hair)

became a doula and started midwifery training/ 2000 (still do doula)

Opened my own wedding hair updo business 2001 (currently do 10 weddings/yr)

took the nursing assistant course / 2002 (only did for 3 months till i started nursing school)

took my Nursing/2004 (currently do as a maternity nurse)

opened my own photography company /2008 (currently do with a partner)

HOWEVER I STILL AM ITCHING TO DO SOMETHING ELSE

I dont want to do so many little things... i want to settle down and do one or 2 big things...

so i have decided to go back to school yet again.. however this time its the last because its gonna take 3-7 years to do it... I wanna go to medical school.. become a doctor... probably an OBGYN hence the 7 years because its a specialty

I have looked into it and yes it gonna be expensive but i really want to do it... I always thought i was not "good" enough or "smart' enough and thats why i did the hairdressing and stuff...my mom says back then was just NOT the right time... and i needed to do all those things to get where i am and to better myself for what i am gonna be in the future... stepping stones i guess....

I am giving up EVERYTHING but my photography company... I have tons of bookings coming up and would like to teach my assistant a few things so that way i can stop doing some things and then pay an actual hourly wage...

Im scared and nervous and totally think im crazy... dont you?? I am a mom to 3 kids and 32 this year... a doctor?????? oh and i should say i also am still considering that if i dont get in then i will just continue with my original plan and go to the Seattle school of midwifery...

any advice would be really appreciated right now...

So as most of you know Lynden is in Grade 7, He goes to a junior high that has whats called a recreation academy, i was not too sure about the academy as its quite expensive however he is excelling BIG TIME!!!

So in just over a week and a bit they go on their first overnight canoe trip, alot of the parents are worried but my kids have been going to summer camp since they were 6 and Lynden is in sea cadets which does all that outdoor stuff.. oh speaking of which Lynden was promoted at sea cadets last week, not sure if i am too happy but he is ecstatic.

I myself was in sea cadets and so was Lyndens dad,

so now lynden asires to be like his dad....not like me because i was only a CP2 (Cheif petty officer 2nd class) His dad was a CP1 (Cheif petty officer 1st class) AND his dad was the coxswain (pronounced cocksen) which is the highest you can go in cadets before you age out at 19 yr of age.

Anyway promotions came and went and I figured if Lynden did not get coxswain he would at least get guard DPO (the leader of the guard) but he did not get that either, they ended up giving him RPO (Regulation petty officer) its really second in command and just below the coxswain HOWEVER and its a big HOWEVER, he is no longer in the guard which he loved DEARLY and they dont really have enough cadets to have an RPO..... im kinda frustrated because he loved the guard,

anyway back to my original thought of his new school, so here are just some of the things they do in the recreation acadamy

golfing

skiing

mountain biking

snorkeling

tobboganing

scuba diving

fitness

tennis

kayaking

and many more i just cannot think of what it is...

AUGUST

so this month was a month full of chaos, to avery's black eye, to the trip to no where (lethbridge) to parades and camping to school chaos to more and more and more...ugh

my big kids were gone most of august so we really did not do much.. we did it all in july.

the family (im taking the picture) at the cariwest parade....avery was yawning...lol

chris and I were able to get rid of ALL 3 kids and have a whole weekend to ourselves

friday we went to a movie and dinner

saturday we went to the dinner theater

sunday we went golfing

it was fun fun fun

Avery's black eye weird it was really bad in real life...lol she woke up with it swollen shut...

she fell and slipped on her whinnie the pooh book, if you look carefully you can see her scar above her eye where she got stitches a few months ago... really people she is accident prone... lol

Well its just going to be a short update...

I have been busy doing a multitude of baby deliveries.... that has taken up the last 2 weeks of my life..

We are moving...

either building or buying used, if we build it will be in callahan (a community 2 min behind us now) buying used we will stay in rutherford..

Lynden has been accepted into the accademic program at is new junior high...

I REALLY REALLY NEED TO TAKE THAT MUSEUM PICTURE.... BRITTANY WHEN ARE YOU IN EDMONTON??? YOUR LITTLE ONE WOULD BE PREFECT...

Yup I broke my ankle, Yup it was stupid...

So now onto life at the Mott/Lizotte house

Avery now tells everyone they are "rude" if we do anything she does not like... ANYTHING

I am so busy with the wedding hair that I need to hire an assistant...

We went to calgary.. it was fun... not much to tell, no pictures to show.

My renters still live there but are asking to stay longer... ha ha ha ha ha ha ...only if they pay for the year upfront...

I am reading a blog right now that i really really want to comment on but am afraid that they will put their blog private if i make it known that i am reading it... its kept me positive for a year now... i don't know these people and have never met them but stumbled upon their blog...

we are driving to TORONTO in the summer (driving the states way) just cuz...

If anyone camps we are wanting to camp like crazy too cuz i am not sending the kids to summer camp (they don't know that yet)

This last 2 weeks have been the hardest 2 weeks of my life, i won't go into it but i found out who my real frieds were.. when i needed a friend at the lowest time... the first few who i thought were there for me STILL have not gotten together with me for the few minutes i needed a friend.. however i have purged like you would not believe and gotten rid of the "so called" friends.... but i will say thanks to K for beng there, because that night was really awful and you just listened...

I have another Doula client coming up...

the kids are enjoying their spring break.. not really doing anything but thats ok.. sometimes life can just be...

I have to face reality that Lynden will be in junior high next year
I have to face the fact that puberty is looming (not for lynden)
I did a WHOLE photoshoot and had a long cat hair on the lens but did not see it till AFTER i was home
I re connected with one of my closest friends from way back when (all of our kids are born together) I hope we stay close.. amanda
Avery decided that whenever i tell her to do something she now says OKAAAAAAAAAAY!!
have i mentioned i am only 30 but feel 45??
i jumped with both feet in and was lucky to enjoy the full deal of an east indian wedding (my profile pic is my sari)
I finished yet another of my many photography classes (i will always take one or 2 a year... always room to learn)
need to figure out mre advertising without breaking the bank
my renters still won't pay their rent
yup we gave them an eviction notice
nope they still have not paid
we are looking for new renters..
facebook sucks, i never really use it but when i do it always gets me in trouble.. like i cleaned out my friends list because i never really talk to some people... i then got some nasty emails from these girls i know accusing me cuz i deleted them.. can you say grow up?
i am too lazy to hit my caps lock so deal with the dotted i's!!!
i really need a massage...lara but never remember to call and make an appointment till its too late.
i want to take a girls weekend away.. vegas or a spa weekend
i had to turn someone down for a greyhound.. they seemed like awful people
i have been having baby urges.... nope not gonna happen chris saw the doctor and the doc was successful
we are going to foster

40 wondering why my brother had to date a really awful person that keeps him from his family, i mean i only had him for a year (ok maybe she is not bad but ihave nothing else to compare her to but her first 3 impressions which were awful)

Since you all did such a good thing over christmas I want to share in my
pay it forward for 2009... so basically i need to tell you the rundown, i finally did rent out my
house to people we knew unfortunately it has not been the greatest experience so far with the
husband alot of avoidance and their first rent payment was 6 days late with no
calls....... actually it has been awful, i won't go into details further but their daughter is my 9
year olds best friend and i love her to death... this family has been struggling for a while so
we made renting to them very easy, we let them pay their damage in payments and their rent bi weekly etc.. we ourselves are struggling a bit too but no where near what they are...anyway they owed us the last of the damage this month and i got a phone call today from the wife.. her even calling me was huge because her husband has caused so many problems it has ruined what friendship we had. So basically she said she had a problem, i was thinking oh no they want to move out.. but no it was that they could not pay the last of their damage deposit tomorrow, one thing i told her before she moved in is COMMUNICATION, thats all i want.. so i said ok.. she apologized and i said no really its ok. she then proceeded to tell me how since they have moved (so close to christmas) how broke they are etc, I told her a few ideas that would work in her situation from working as a porter at my hospital to even running a 1-2 child day home but her response to the dayhome was "i can't even feed my kids how can i feed dayhome kids"?

that actually stunned me because even with the jerk of a husband she has the most well behaved (even better then mine) and well cared for kids. so i hung up with her and it bugged me for about 2 hours.. actually nagged at me, i talked
it over with my huband to see what he thought, he asked me why i was so concerned after
the way we were treated.. but all I was thinking about was the kids.
I then called my friend who is part of the LDS church for some advice she wanted to contact her ward to see if they will give some outside help..... in the end i decided to call the catholic school that our kids attend, i got a hold of the principal
and told her the situation without telling her the family's name but she knew.. she even
said one of the little girls came to her today after complaining of a tummy ache.. we
concluded that she was hungry.. my 9 year old then came home and out of the blue while i was on the phone and said T has not been bringing lunches etc.. I said to the principle we need to do something.. so the school does this
thing where they buy healthy food over the course of 2 weeks and send little by little home
with the kids daily..

we then contacted st thomas more church and they are willing to donate however
none of this could be done till next week..

oh i forgot to say the reason they are like this is because the hubby keeps
quitting his job, he won't let the wife work.. he is very against women hence why he does not like
me as i speak my mind.. so i got off the phone satisfied but not satisfied enough, i said to my hubby i
wonder if safeway and sobeys would donate anything if i bought gift cards etc... needless
to say sobeys was LESS then generous and in front of my 11 year old told me where to go
that they only donate to charity organizations..

I did buy a 100 gift certificate from sobeys anyway and then i went to safeway
and bought another $150 certificate and they were awesome and donated a $25 certificate.. i
then went to Boston pizza and bought a $50 gift certificate and they matched it with
another $50 certificate...

we went to their house my son went to the door said ":here you go" and ran..lol

she called me and said in any normal situation she would "be too proud to take
it and her hubby will be mad but dammit this is my family too and we need this right now" i
am so proud that she accepted the certificates.. so proud she thought of her kids.

When i was in nursing school my student loans had not come in and my college
gave us a christmas to remember.. i always vowed i would pay it forward

My husband and I along with about 10 friends decided to start a small group to
give to families we hear about in need around here and my renter asked me tonight if she
could join our group so she can pay it forward to someone like i did to her...

So we bought a new van, not just any van but a ....

CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY VAN

you ask why? since we have a 2007 van? well we lease the 2007 van and since there are no more leases we figured lets turn it in early start the inevitable and finance.. of course we knew we were not going to keep the 2007 so we figured lets go see what they can do and how much negative equity there would be.

In the mail we got a certificate for referring so many people to that dealership that we were able to rack up almost $7000 in rebates, plus right now dealewrships are GIVING away vehicles, so our whole intention was to go in there and buy a DODGE DURANGO because we want to buy a trailer one day and want something to pull it.

Needless to say they do not sell durango's any more and there were no more 2008 any where but in windsor ontario, so the option was a 2008/09 chrysl er aspen which is the exact same as the durango but a really really loaded edition, needless to say it was $20,000 more minimum.. way out of our price range.

so we thought lets just look at the new dodge caravans mainly because they have a new one with a bigger engine that can pull a trailer.. however the rebates were only $4000 so they showed us a TOWN AND COUNTRY.. OH my goodness, they have EVERYTHING!!

so of course the town and country is the loaded version of the caravan just like the aspen was to the durango... anything chrysler is expensive, but because they are expensive they had huge rebate.... $11,000 off, so basically we thought we could do it, our payments would change by $35.00 a month, no big deal... monday dec 29th is when we went in to sign all the papers etc.. so we went in there with a bunch of questions etc ready to walk away (long story) so in the end they let us keep the 2007 van (lease is up in 2 yrs) and buy the new van and the payments are still the same... can you believe it? thats how much we saved in rebates and still have 0% interest on both vehicles... AMAZING.... but wait........... the story is long from over.

Timeline

DECEMBER 29TH we sign papers, they have to keep the van to clean it and take off all the dealer stickers etc... we get the van back 730 pm monday december 29th we took the van home

December30th i went to start the NEW van... NOTHING!!! we calle the dealership who then called the roadside who then tried to boost it NOTHING!! we got it towed to the dealership on calgary trail, they say oops the starter went.. WHAT?? there is like 30km on the NEW van!! oh great its new years, oh and the part is in red deer... yah and they were also moving dealerships so "we won't be able to even work on it till next monday or tuesday" so they set us up in a rental which i refused to even pay a penny, normally you have o pay the insurance cost $20.99/day but i made the dealership pay for every penny including gas...

jan 6th... finally we hear something at 5 pm, i was excited.. angry but excited.. yay my new van,.... but wait, still not over.... they moved the new dealership to about 3 min from my house on ellerslie rd... i picked up the van drove the 3 min home, pulled in front of my house and EEK the drivers sliding door opens BY ITSELF... yes i have all auto doors.. will explain options later... so i press the button to close it.. thump thump thump, door was stuck.. frig i thought, so i tried manually, NADDA... i then called the dealership this time MAD MAD MAD, i told them i have had the vehicle back all of 15 min and its BROKEN!! they said call road side, i said in not so nice words screw that and made my husband drive it to the dealership with the door open... yup he drove it.. now i was really mad, if you know me i can get mad.

So of course the van has got to go back to the van hospital. i refused a rental and told them that they had to give me a new van or a loaner.. i got a loaner HUGE dodge truck that was so loaded the steering wheel heated up and the truck talked to me..

jan8th they call van is ready, i went in refused to talk to anyone but a HIGH up manager, made him put it in writing that if ANYTHING goes wrong in the next 90 days they will give me a new van

so thats my story about the new van that i owned for 12 hours and 20 min before it broke 2 times

remember this was NOT a used vehicle.. brand spanking new

so options, maybe its easier to say what it does NOT have.. i did not get leather or heated seats.

Because its the town and country not the caravan a base model is more loaded then a fully loaded caravan.

It has 3 TV's and can play all different things, it has a touch screen for the radio, i can put kids pictures, MP3 sattelite etc.... headphones so NO MORE DORA for me...lol

automatic sliding doors and lift gate, steering wheel buttons for everything including move the pedals closer to you instead of your seat closer to them, 1000 cup holders...i swear, fog ligts, stow and go, green illumination lights instead of blaring white lights when you open the doors... storage over head galore, auto dim side mirrors, temp gauge, N,E,S,W, gauge, 3 garage door openers.. would be nice if i had a garage...lol,

one of the coolest options is that when you put it in reverse the front TV shows the back up camera, a little hard to get used to but its nice.. power seats, goodness there is more but i have had it only 1 day.. wait i saved the best for last.. we have an automatic car starter that we did not know we had till we pressed a button on the remote

this remote is crazy, 2 are for the sliding doors, auto lift gate and car start

This song tells me that every choice you make chooses your path in life. The word open means to me open a new path in life a path with all good. It is ok to make a mistake just try not to make that same mistake again. Always keep goodness in your heart. Have faith in people that are trying to make a good difference in life. like Nikki said something in there is yucky and blah, I have kidney stones, confirmed and unconfirmed, sill waiting for a ct scan because they know i passed one but unsure if there is more.. xray says maybe 2 large ones in right kidney... uuuuggghhhh but they are doing NOTHING!!!

ANYWAY

so i have this problem.. a really huge problem, may even need help to fix this problem, the problem is that there are sooooooooo many people out there that need help, i have been doing ALOT of paying it forwards lately, examples are

in the McDonald's line i ALWAYS pay for the person behind me.. always,, its kinda fun too...
at walmart the other day there was one item on the shelf and this woman really wanted it but i already have it in my hand... i told her to tell me why she wants it,, she then said her mama is at the glen rose and she loves the item immensely, i told her that my friend just lost her children and that is why i was buying it.. in the end i said... miss you can have it because one day they will have more and i know my friend will live so i will take a picture of it and give it to her in a card,,, again she was incredulous and must have had me on her mind, needless to say we were in the line and she was in front, she paid and i was being rung thru. watching my total go up $29 $45$77$ 124 ugh.. so i was paying and the clerk says hunny don't worry about it its paid for i said what??????????????? my bill was $266 how in the word. thank you miss Jane thank you

Someone came and told me they were fighting and when i came upstairs i burst out laughing cuz i thought the joke was on me.... wanna know what they were fighting about????????

OK I CANNOT BELIEVE I AM OFFICIALLY OLD!!! lol my birthday was this saturday november 22nd, yup i turned 30.. the big 30.. heading up the hill uugh!!

yah yah i know most of you who read this blog are already 30 but im only 3 days into this so i have a right to feel put out.. however chris and i decided lets don a sweatshirt and backpack and see if we blend into high school and university kids...lol yuppers no one knew we were born in the 70's... the store clerk by a high school even tried to make us adhere to the no more than 3 students in the store... you should have seen the look in his eyes once he saw our ID'S

so now I am 30, i have an 11 year old, 9 year old and 2 year old, i sure felt old this weekend, some of you already know i am dealing with kidney stones.. well i just got told i have 2 or 3 more..uugh and on my birthday i spent the morning in the hospital because i could not handle the pain!!

I got spoiled from everyone on saturday but... my husband, yup thats right he did not get me a gift.. he did however get me a musical card.. you open it and it plays music, if ay of you know marvyn gaye then you know the song "lets get it on..."

I am buying my be all lens today i hope, its a 35-128 mm image stabalization lens.. woo hoo i am so excited.

for all you photographers i am thinking about getting a new camera, any suggestions? canon of course, any other suggestions for a lens too?

OK now i am the one slacking at blogging!!

So my photography business is taking off at a faster rate then i can handle.

I am in the process of getting my 3 licenses (ugh) registering my trade name, opening a business account (but hopefully i don't have too, too expensive)

I am now a sole proprietor

I need to think up creative ways to keep the business busy during the winter months (idea's anyone?)

lets see I may decide to drive a school bus because my children have been stranded at school 11 times now because drivers quit and the have no one to take them home, i just happened to be at the school on Tuesday and the bus was not there, by the time another bus came the other kids got home at 615 pm... crazy!!

I get 20-40 phone calls a day from this stupid number that is only a beeping sound, somehow we got crossed with this thing called digital contact, it happened when we called the "call before you dig" company, 30 different numbers call 24 hours a day, last night we had 12 between midnight and 3 am, there is nothing we can do..nothing not even block it, we can only change our number and that is not an option...

We rented out our house, (don'teven ask) KL will have new neighbors...

Lynden will be 11 in 2 weeks... AKA I am OLD or i feel it since he is as tall as me and has size 10 mens feet...

Avery has to go for a brain scan to see if her brain shuts off at night (she wakes with night terrors 5 times a night ) doctors say she is either ADHD or is a ROCKET SCIENTIST and thats why her brain is always on.... i say rocket scientist cuz she is a smarrtie pants... or so i like to think!!

so life has been crazy on this homefront!!

first i must say AVERY IS 2 YEARS OLD!!! omgosh i cannot believe it has been 2 years already.. meaning most of you who read my blog i have now known for just over 2 years!!

so july 14th is her birthday, which was on monday.. avery woke up sick sick sick, she looked literally like deaths door... during the party i knew (KNEW) something was wrong, she was breathing very very hard and seemed to be struggling, everyone kept telling me i was wrong and over reacting.. EVERYONE... however i followed my gut instinct and took her to the grey nuns anyway and sure enough her O2 sats were in the 80's.. normal is 95-100%. thank goodness i took her in, so miss avery spent 3 days in the pediatric ward of the grey nuns, it was ok especially because i knew everyone, she had alot of work visitors from upstairs (where my obstetrics unit is) so that was alright..

today she is home ..oh yah i guess you need a diagnosis.. she has a partial left lung collapse and had a regular cold so that just made it worse.. some of her alveoli were collapsed.. due to congestion!! uugh so nope she is not contagious just a sick little puppy

oh next time i am bringing a cot, because the peds unit is peds they have beds for parents.. however they are single beds and chris was there... have you all seen how big my bum is??? sorry for graphics but you get my drift!!!

HELP AND ADVICE

so i have a friend and i am really worried about her, you see she is a mom to 2 kids almost 3 however she and her family NEVE seem to be able to get a head, she is due to have number 3 in july and i know for a fact that its going to be detrimental to them, see when she lived here in edmonton they made the mistake of eating out alot o they always spent their money, they always made the bills and food come last and now it has caught up with them, sometimes they have to re-use diapers, i mean it literally, some of you know this person but please don't mention names if you reply, the reason i am posting this is they moved away to saskatchewan to see if they can make a change, they bought a trailer and have a very small mortgage (less than 600 dollars) but they have a bank debt of 800 a month, unfortunately the boyfriend gets these meaningless jobs, however he works like 3 jobs just to stay a float so its not like he is not working, she is home with the 2 kids and has decided to take on another 2 (yet she is gonna deliver soon) just to keep their head above water, anyway she just emailed me that she was so distraught, they had to use the foodbank, they have no diapers and she wants to harm herself, i don't know how to help, she does not need baby clothes or anything like hat, i personally do not want to give her money because that will not make it all better (well it would ) but i cannot afford to do that, her phone was cut off and today her power was cut off... can you guys give me any ideas on how to help? should i go to a church to see if they will help her with say formula? diapers? uugh i feel so helpless, i have known her since she was 12 and yes she has not made the smartest decisions with her money but in the end her girls are suffering big time...

so i finally got my website done for my wedding hair, i am excited, i have also had a few requests to be a doula x4 this summer, i am not sure if i will do it as it takes up alot of my time for very little money... as you all know winter is back with a vengeance... no need to post pics as most of who read this live in edmonton... oh alright for you american/ BC people i will post a picture tonight.

well we went to yonge street and literally left after about 2 hours... maybe sooner, still had to pay the $18.50 in parking though... yah thats right, so we were on our way back to the hotel feeling cheated and i saw a sign on the QEW (equivalent to our yellowhead) i saw a sign that said Niagara falls, 112km... so we just went, spur of the moment at 2pm we went to the falls, i myself have been there before but i don't really remember much more then the actual falls... on the main street (clifton hill) it is literally like a carnival, its so cool, they have fun houses, haunted houses, wax museums... i got loads of pics that i will post when i get back, we were so dejected michelle we were really tempted to come visit you but then the falls called our names... it was cool, it only took an hour to get there oh and on the way there were loads and Loads and LOADS of vineyards, i want to come back just to see a winery up close, a real winery with the actual grapes, miles and miles of them. one thiing i thought was funny was out of the falls there is a sign (the USA border is there to newyork/buffalo) there is a sign that converts the miles to kilometers...lol

we also bought lottery tickets from here too cuz when we are at home we always hear of people in ontario winning...snicker... watch someone from alberta win!!

i can't wait to get home too to unload Avery literally, i know it sounds harsh but uugh i just need a mini break, not only has she been attached to me, she ends up sleeping with me too...crazy.. but chris had NONE of the kids while i was gone as they were at their dads so its totally his turn!!!!

so we have been in toronto for 3 nights now... its good but busy, we went to the ontatio space science center, its 5 times bigger then our... kinda like how our zoo is much smaller than calgary zoo... lol

i have visited loads of family and introduced jeff... more visiting to come.. avery is a nutcake, literally. the drivers here are crazy, and here i thougt i drive crazy but nope nothing is even comparable.. lol

my grandma gave me a few pictures, this one here looks just like avery, its me as a little girl... crazy

well back to the grind, i am officially back to work after breaking my hand...uugh, it is sooooooooooooo busy. i don't even have time to cuddle the cute babettes and bambino's... sigh, so i leave for toronto on wednesday , this trip is kinda specail to me, its just me, Avery and my brother jeff going, we are going to introduce him to my family like my grandma's and uncles etc as the only family i have here is my mom and he has already met her. we are taking the midnight flight as i am not sure how my monster ... er i mean avery will be on the plane, those of you who know her .... well know her !!! lol she is crazy, so i am hoping she will be a bit sleepy, pray for us. lol oh and i am TERRIFIED TO FLY SO THIS TRIP IS REALLY SCARY CUZ WE ARE NOT TAKING A DIRECT FLIGHT THERE because there is only one red eye and it stops in calgary so i am gonna be taking off and landing 2 times.. i truly am soooooo scared, uugh.. but sadly my family just makes fun of me cuz they think i am joking. if i did not have avery i would drug myself silly... k well not silly but enough to relax.

last may we went to toronto but i had Hunter there to hold my hand (yup she held it) and on the way home i had kari lynn and maigan to keep my mind occupied on the take off... whaaaaaaa now i am really freaked.

so lets see, nothing really has been going on ... well we finally started renovating our basement, so by the time the house is done we will have a 5 bedroom 4 bathroom house... pretty good for a starter home!!

the kids start back at school tomorrow but lynden is only going for one day because he has surgery on tuesday so he will miss the rest of this week... which kinda sucks for him because he needs school..

avery is finally healthy, after 14 days of pure sickness its finally good she is healthy, that was some kinda scary this christmas with her in the hospital.

its gonna sucj=k too cuz chris has been off for 2 weeks and now he goes back to work too... i may start back at work (took 1 month off) again after lynden is healthy.

ok so not much to say, but i do have loads of pictures to put up here for my BC family... i promise i will get to it!!

got to toronto at 130pm their time, walked a mile and got on a shuttle to get my rental car, drove to my grandma's house and visited them, i decided there was not enough room their so me and the girls stayed in a hotel, the hotel was the admiral and the one i stayed at was soooo nice and only $89.00 a night (grand opening) we had a fridge, internet, microwave, free full breakfast, pool sauna work out room etc...

wednesday may 2nd

went back to my grandma's and did some driving around and some shopping, we went to a park called john darling park (i always called it john deere). this park is located right on lake ontario, sooooooo blue and beautiful. hunter just played in the park and played with the water...nothing special just hotel stuff after that.

Thursday may 3rd

checked out of the hotel and my mom's friend nadine was very nice and let us stay at her house so we could save some money, we hung out with them for the night and did some driving around to the yacht club and she showed me some sights. nadine's son nathan is 18 and also in sea cadets, its neat, i bugged him the whole time on how my cadets was sooooo much better than his....lol but i was just buggin him, i am proud of his achievements.

friday may 4th

i drove to victoria park (scarborough) and visited my step grandma eleanor.... was so awesome, we had lunch together and had the WORST waitress in the world....lol....i have not seen her in FOREVER, it was great, on the way home i made a point to leave before the rush hour on the 401 highway.... did not happen there was a huge accident, i went 20kms an hour the whole way back to nadines, i stopped at my grandma's first. see i told you it was a boring trip.... oh there was some shopping everyday too.

saturday may 5th

just watched tv all night, nadine and nathan went out and did their thing, i was supposed to get together with my uncle patrick but that fell thru!!! i am sad i really wanted to see him,

sunday may 6th

kari lynn came in at 945 am, so i picked her up at the airport and we checked into this yucky hotel near the airport, i mean it was not bad but it was not the admiral...lol. we went and visited her grandma who is about 89yrs young, she is a very vibrant and funny lady, she almost force fed us at swiss chalet, forced us to eat dessert too... i took mine home and kari lynn ate hers... the poor girl.

then we went back to my grandma's and my uncle danny came over (he is an elvis impersonator as a second job)

i have also not seen him since lynden was 1 yrs old, too cool it was nice to see him but i did not get to meet his family though!! then we just went back to the hotel and watched tv.

monday may 7th

i really wanted to do some sight seeing today but sadly was not able too as kari lynn did not want to, ( why you ask did i not go myself then??? i did not want to spend another day alone) i was kinda frustrated since i had planned on doing it today, i had spent soooooooooo much money and just wanted one day where i would not have to be by myself to do something.. but oh well we did end up going into toronto and walking down yonge street, not the fancy fun yonge street but it was ok where we were, we also visited her aunt and uncle who she had not seen in a while and they live in the coolest area where the houses were all huge and worth millions.... totally cool, then we went back to john darling park

tuesday may 8th

woke up at 5am and got ready to go went to the airport and caught our plane... again i got 3 seats to myself (well me hunter and avery)

k so avery was sooooooooooo good on both flights, hunter was very well behaved too i would take them flying any day!
Hunter really enjoyed herself on the trip, she conned nathan into hanging at the park with her for hours...poor guy...lol
Hunter loved the shopping and visiting everyone, she really like lake ontario and missing school, of course!!

avery was kinda grumpy with the time change, it took her a while to get used to everything but at night she ws horrible and did not sleep very well, she kept waking up, i felt sorry for the other hotel patrons hee hee.

myself i was ok, developed some sort of allergy at the second hotel , was kinda sad.... ok really sad that i did not do any sight seeing or really anything fun, i actually felt like i had to walk on egg shells the whole 7 days (except at nadines) and normally i have a big fat mouth and would be like TOO BAD I WANT IT LIKE THIS....however that part of me never showed up, which i am suprised but i think i didn't say anything because i did not want to be alone and did not want to just hang at the hotels by myself. the only thing that was frustrating is i shelled out all of this money for nothing!

thanks kari lynn for hanging with me, made my days there worth it... breath of fresh air.

so we took air canada and had 3 seats to ourselves, avery ws soooooooooooooooooo good, hopefully she is as good on the way home huh? so i totally wish i stayed home, not that its not not fun visiting but i am bored and yah!! this area i am staying in is kinda scary too, i did not stay at my grandma's because she has no room and said i could not sleep on the couch... why? no idea... oh well, no big deal!!

K so i am here in ontario/toronto/mississauga... not as fun as i thought it would be... hey kari lynn i hope you are having fun, i cannot wait to pick her up from the airport tomorrow as i am soooooooooooooooooooooo bored, hopefully we can bum around toronto... as much as we can with 2 babies in a strange scary city...lol. when kari lynn gets here we will be staying in a hotel because she did not bring anything for maigs to sleep in and the house we are at really needs baby accomodation (not baby proof) we drop off the rental car at like 530 am on tuesday YUCK!! good thing we are in a hotel right across the street... will update more when kari lynn and i get home.

SO FREAKIN FRUSTRATED RIGHT NOW....... HAVE BEEN ACCUSED OF LYING AND I TRULY TRULY HAVE NOT!!!!!!

so anyway lynden has cadets tonight and hopefully he passed his test because he will be getting promoted to ordinary cadet (OC) if he did, i will let you know if he did or not!!

on another note not so excited about moving now....
so they put the porch on our house and i guess they will wrap it and once they wrap it they will be putting the drywall in place.

our house here will go for sale end of may beginning of june at the latest. we may have to live elsewhere for a month because of possession date conflicts. which is no big deal just a huge inconvenience!!

so kari lynn is going to new york (upstate new york)...yay her... im trying to convince her to let me go with her tee hee, talk about butting in huh? although it started as a joke and now after all that has happened i need a vacation...lol and amazingly enough chris has been pestering me to go. but it would be rude of me to just up and go with her cuz she is staying with her sister... i could just see it now, ummm hi im tonikka and im taking over your sisters vacation..lol although i would stay in a hotel not with her actual sister so they woud never see me.... but kari lynn wants to go to toronto and this may be her only way i guess. it probably won't happen cuz her one sister does not know me and like i said i would not want to intrude, although i may go to toronto by myself, won't that be fun huh? a vacation by myself...hee hee i can just see it now....lol,

i know that my family in toronto would love to see me so i probably will just go there! i will let you know
